Application Process

Parents, Adult Staff candidates, Teen Staff candidates and Helping Hands candidates:

If you were with us last year, you got to experience the "exciting" changes with us as GSCNC moved to camp registration via the Personify system.  We think we have all the kinks worked out this year so we're hoping things go much more smoothly.

Camper and Teen Staff-in-Training (AIT) applications are submitted via GSCNC's Personify system.  Adult staff, teen staff and helping hands (part-time adults) are submitted on the Camp Crossroads web site.  There are "windows" when we accept applications so be sure to check our Important Dates page so that you don't miss the window.  You can also sign up for a reminder email by clicking here.

One of the keys to the Personify system is parental involvement.  As camp directors, we can't "see into Personify".  We simply receive a download of your daughter's information.  We can't make changes.  Only the parent can update their daughter's record.  And for some of the fields such as school and grade, only GSCNC can correct it after the parent contacts GSCNC.  BEFORE camp registration season begins, log on to your daughter's Personify account and make sure everything is correct.  Double check to ensure that one of the parent's email addresses is checked as the "primary" email address -- this is the official email address we use to correspond with the parent regarding camp registration status.  Also make sure all of the parents' phone numbers are correct and one of the numbers is checked as primary.  Now this one sounds silly, but we had quite a problem last year, make sure the parent information is correct.  If she has two parents or guardians, make sure their names are on her Personify record AND that the names match the adults' photo identification.
